Thanks to Ian Maveric for making the 2 Sorcerer ROM images needed with an ASP String Floppy Controller with drives attached as well as supplying the articles to be scanned. Thanks to exidyboy for making the ASP String Floppy Controller ROM ver 1.0 dump available. Finally thanks to kimjohn for making available the ASP String Floppy Controller ROM ver 1.1 to be dumped and its Listing manual to be scanned. ROM dumped using my GQ-4x4 reader and manual scanned at 300dpi and converted to a searchable PDF as usual. A4 in size and 22 pages long. All the eproms were 2716 type (2kb).
The ASP Stringy Floppy Controller connects to the Sorcerer via the 50 way cable at the back. The controller supported 2 String Floppy units. The Sorcerer needs a few changes to operate them also. Change the 2 Sorcerer ROMs with MON1 & MON2 and do a small mod with a trace to be cut and a jumper wire to be installed. See the sorcerer_stringy_floppy_manual.pdf already in the Repository for full information on the mods needed depending if its a Sorcerer 1 or 2.
So in the Vintage Repository in the Exidy_Sorcerer\Software\ROMs folder we placed
Sorcerer_ASP_MON1.rom
Sorcerer_ASP_MON2.rom
Sorcerer_ASP_stringy_floppy_controller_v1.0.rom
Sorcerer_ASP_stringy_floppy_controller_v1.1.rom
sorcerer_ASP_controller_rom_listing_v1.1.pdf <-- in the Exidy_Sorcerer\Documentation\Manuals folder
customized_technology_catalogue.pdf <-- in the Exidy_Sorcerer\Documentation\Articles folder
customized_technology_sorcerer_catalogue.pdf
sound_effects_addons.pdf
sorcerer_basic_compiler_brochure.pdf <-- in the Exidy_Sorcerer\Documentation\Brochures
