Re: ROM PAC replica boards
Fantastic, I'll link the 3d models in the original post if you don't mind.

Re: S100 expansion chassis replica
I've got one of the hard sector controllers I can repro, but I don't know if I have the patience to figure out how to make that work with the latest version of flashfloppy (it has some support for hard sectored). If you find me a soft sectored s100 card that has sorcerer software support I'll do one...

Re: Arrington EPROM programmer
that's super cool. I never expected to see that software. I don't know that it's practical to use a sorcerer as a 2716 programmer, but it's great to have it preserved.
Can I see inside that box? I wonder if it used the same PCB, just repackaged.

Re: S100 expansion chassis replica
Thw first one will be an exact replica, but once I know it works I can mod it any way people want. That being said I also plan to do the s100 card that interfaces to a passive backplane so that may satisfy the need.

S100 expansion chassis replica
I started recreating the s100 expansion chassis in kicad. I'm done with the schematic, but there are assuredly errors. I'll get those cleaned up when I verify all the connections against my real PCB. I'm going to initially make a perfect replica, then analyze all the period correct mods to see what ...

Re: ESGG External RAM Disk
I also built up a replica of 1.1, I like the trace layout better. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how a DRAM refresh circuit works so I've not completely grasped how this, or even the original Sorcerer RAM system works yet.

Re: ESGG External RAM Disk
Well, 1.1 does make the power traces bigger and add more bulk capacitance. I think A11 has to be controlled on a hack on the motherboard somewhere. Could it be one of those thin blue wirewrap wires?

Re: ESGG External RAM Disk
I think I understand the jumpering that makes it fit 2764 chips, but what's going on with A11 to switch between the monitors? Is it just hooked to a toggle switch?
Once we figure out how to use this I'm tempted to make one. I already laid out a replica in KiCAD
